Jupiter, Florida (October 7, 2008) – The Maltz Jupiter Theatre announces the first concert in its Doo Wop Series, Johnny Maestro & The Brooklyn Bridge, sponsored by Maroone
Lincoln-Mercury of North Palm Beach. Kicking the season off on Friday, October 24 at 7:30pm, this fun-filled concert will have you dancing in the aisles and singing along to all of the classics for baby boomers and audiences of all ages.

Don’t miss a trip down memory lane with a tour through the musical history of the band, its members and the incomparable and one and only Johnny Maestro! Reminisce the rock n’ roll era with classic hits such as “Sixteen Candles,” “Six Nights A Week” and many more! The story of Johnny Maestro and The Brooklyn Bridge is one that spans nearly the entire rock era. Starting in the latter half of the 50s as The Crests, the band still continues to perform live and take their audience back through history seen through rock n’ roll.

“We sponsor the Doo Wop Series because of its past success as well as our strong relationship with the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. Plus, we love the music as much as the audience does!” says TJ Tjomstol, General Manager of Maroone Lincoln-Mercury of North Palm Beach.

Tickets for Johnny Maestro & The Brooklyn Bridge are $55 for all seats on Friday, October 24 at 7:30pm. Coming up later this season, as part of the Doo Wop Series, will be “Doo Wop Holiday Bop” on Tuesday, December 16 at 7:30pm led by Tommy Mara of The Crests with “The Angels Listened In” and “Step by Step” and the Soul Survivors best known for their hit “Expressway To Your Heart”. Also on the Doo Wop calendar is the Dream Team of Doo Wop on Monday, January 19 at 7:30pm, featuring Lenny Coco (The Chimes) with “Once In A While,” Richie Merritt (The Marcells & The Clovers) with "Love Potion #9," and "Blue Moon," Tony Passalacqua (The Archies & The Fascinators) and Steve Horn (Del Vikings & The Five Sharks) with a tribute to Martin Luther King.
