Elizabeth (Lyz) Porter

Elizabeth (Lyz) Porter was born and raised in Steubenville, OH. She recently graduated with a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology with an emphasis in Costuming from West Virginia University.

At school she worked as a stitcher and was wardrobe supervisor for numerous productions such as Blithe Spirit, Guys & Dolls, and Urinetown: The Musical; and has built & styled wigs for The Compleat Female Stage Beauty. She has also designed costumes for Down the Road.

She has also worked at the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, where, as the costume coordination intern, she worked on shows such as Les Miserables and Into the Woods. As a new resident of Florida, she is so excited to begin her first season at the Maltz.
