"10th Anniversary Season Celebration FAQ"
(Q) What do I win? (A) Ten (10) sweepstakes entries will be selected at random from all of the entries received by the Maltz Jupiter Theatre box office on or before the entry deadline. Each of those ten (10) prize winners will win one (1) of the ten (10) sweepstakes prizes. The prize to be won by each winner will be selected at random. Please see the Official Rules governing the conduct and operation of the sweepstakes from the Maltz Jupiter Theatre box office or at www.jupitertheatre.org/sweepstakesrules for a list and description of the ten (10) sweepstakes prizes. Each prize is being given away in "as-is" condition. The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferrable, non-refundable, and have a cash value of $0.01. Limit of one prize per individual. Limit of one prize per household. Only the person or couple whose name appears on the official 2012/13 subscription form will be automatically entered into the drawing.
(Q) When will the drawings occur? (A) The ten (10) prize winners will be drawn at random from all of the entries received at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 13, 2012, in the main lobby of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. The drawings are open to the public.
(Q) How do I enter into the sweepstakes? (A) All individuals who complete a 2012/13 subscription renewal form (or a new 2012/13 subscription order form) and submit it to the Maltz Jupiter Theatre box office no later than 5:00 pm on Monday, March 12, 2012, will be automatically entered into the sweepstakes drawing. Individuals may also enter the sweepstakes by obtaining, filling out and submitting an "official entry form" from the Maltz Jupiter Theatre box office. No purchase or contribution is necessary. To qualify, the completed subscription order form or official entry form must be delivered by hand or faxed to the box office on or before 5:00 pm Monday, March 12, 2012, or mailed to the box office at the following address, post-marked no later than Tuesday, March 6, 2012 and received no later than Monday, March 12, 2012: Maltz Jupiter Theatre Box Office, 1001 E. Indiantown Road, Jupiter, Florida 33477 (Fax: 561-743-0107). Limit of one sweepstakes entry per individual. Limit of one sweepstakes entry per household.
(Q) How much does it cost? (A) There is no cost to enter the sweepstakes.
(Q) If I subscribe for more than one seat, do I get entered more than once in the sweepstakes? (A) No. Submission of a new subscription order form or renewal form by March 12, 2012, automatically enters you once into the sweepstakes. If the other members of your party wish to be entered into the sweepstakes, they may either "break off of" your subscription and submit a completed subscription order form for themselves, or they may complete and submit an official entry form as described above. If any member of your party wishes to break off of your subscription, the individual holding the original subscription will need to sign a note agreeing to such a change.
All proceeds benefit the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. The funds used to purchases prizes, if any, come from the general operating fund of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. No purchase or contribution is necessary to enter into the sweepstakes. Restrictions apply. OFFICIAL RULES governing the conduct and operation of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre 2012/13 Season "10th Anniversary Season Celebration" Sweepstakes
The use of the term "sweepstakes" is for marketing purposes only. In actuality, this is a "Drawing of Chance" under Florida Law, governed by 2009 Florida Statutes - Title XLVI Section 849.0935.
Consumer Disclosure: The sweepstakes are being conducted by the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, a not-for-profit 501(C)(3) organization with its principal place of business located at 1001 E. Indiantown Road, Jupiter, Florida 33477. This is a "drawing of chance" whereby entrants are entered into a drawing to win one (1) of the ten (10) sweepstakes prizes. There is no cost to enter the sweepstakes. There is no limit on the number of total entries that will be accepted except as follows: (1) Limit of one sweepstakes entry per individual; (2) Limit of one sweepstakes entry per household; and (3) No entries will be accepted after 5:00 pm, Monday, March 12, 2012. The odds of winning are based on the number of entries received for the drawing. Limit of one prize per individual. Limit of one prize per household. Only the person or couple whose name appears on the official 2012/13 subscription form will be automatically entered into the drawing. The drawing will be conducted as scheduled even if fewer than ten (10) entries are received. The contest begins at 5:00 p.m. EST on February 13, 2012 and ends at 5:00 p.m. EST on Monday, March 12, 2012. All proceeds benefit the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. The funds used to purchases prizes, if any, shall come from the general operating fund of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. No purchase or contribution is necessary to enter into the drawing. TEN (10) PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED. The ten (10) prizes are as follows:
1. Two (2) tickets to the "The Ten Event" gala benefit performance on Saturday, February 23, 2013. This 90-minute musical revue production will feature celebrities from the past ten seasons of hit productions. Backed by an orchestra on stage and utilizing multi-media imagery, this enchanting celebration will take you on a retrospective journey of all of our triumphant shows! Prize includes show and post-show dancing only, but does not include cocktail reception or dinner.
2. The opportunity for one (1) person to have a walk-on-role at one (1) performance of The Music Man. Prize includes costume fitting, rehearsal with the cast, and a pair of tickets for your biggest fans to watch you make your stage debut!
3. Ten (10) complimentary 2012/13 "Top 10" limited engagement tickets, consisting of two (2) complimentary tickets to each of five (5) different 2012/13 "Top 10" Maltz Jupiter Theatre limited engagements.
4. One (1) "family four pack" of tickets to Through the Looking Glass. This magical night will include a photo with the cast and a "behind-the scenes" tour after the show. Prize includes a gift certificate for four (4) to attend a traditional English Afternoon Tea at The Chesterfield Palm Beach.
5. One (1) VIP champagne experience for four (4) people at a production of "Thoroughly Modern Millie!" Prize includes four (4) VIP seats to see the show and exclusive use of our VIP lounge, the "Imagine" room, before the production or at intermission.
6. Two (2) additional, complimentary tickets to each of the five season shows for the 2012/13 season.
7. One (1) "Opening Night Experience" on November 1 and November 2, 2012 for two (2) people. Prize includes a VIP upgrade of your regular seats to the Opening Night performance of "Amadeus" on Thursday, November 1, 2012, attending the champagne pre-show reception and the private and exclusive post-show cast party. Then, the next evening, dinner for two (2) with the Director of Amadeus and Artistic Director of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, Andrew Kato, at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa Jupiter.
8. One (1) official credit for one (1) person or one (1) couple as "Honorary Producer" of Doubt. Prize includes (a) the opportunity for two (2) people to attend one (1) run-through rehearsal of Doubt, (b) the opportunity for two (2) people to attend one (1) technical rehearsal of Doubt on Saturday, February 2, 2013, (c) dinner for two (2) people with the cast and crew of Doubt at 5:00 pm on Saturday, February 2, 2013, and (d) the opportunity for two (2) people to attend one (1) dress rehearsal of Doubt on Sunday, February 3, 2013, when you will join the Artistic Director on stage to welcome the audience.
9. The opportunity for two (2) people to attend the Singin in the Rain closing party on Sunday, January 27, 2013. Prize includes a VIP upgrade of your regular seats to the Closing Night performance of "Singin' in the Rain" on Sunday, January 27, 2013, a post-show cast champagne toast, the cast party, and a photo of the cast.
10. The opportunity to receive two (2) complimentary, one-hour, semester-long group classes at the Conservatory of Performing Arts, two (2) complimentary tickets to The 2012/13 COPA Best of Broadway Revue, and two (2) complimentary tickets to the 2012/13 COPA Spring Musical.
ELIGIBILITY: Void where prohibited. Limited to U.S. residents only. Employees of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre and their immediate family members are ineligible. No one under the age of 18 is eligible.
HOW TO ENTER: Maltz Jupiter Theatre subscription order forms, subscription renewal forms, and official sweepstakes entry forms are available for pick-up at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre box office. Agents of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre may mail out or distribute through other means subscription order forms or subscription renewal forms or official sweepstakes entry forms. Agents of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre may hand out or distribute through other means subscription order forms or subscription renewal forms or official sweepstakes entry forms at public or private events. Provided that you submit a completed new subscription order form or subscription renewal form as described above on or before March 12, 2012, you will automatically be entered into the drawing scheduled to take place at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 13, 2012, in the main lobby of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. The drawing is open to the public.
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: The ten (10) prize winners will be selected in a drawing at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 13, 2012, in the main lobby of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. The drawing is open to the public. The winners will be announced immediately thereafter. Once submitted, entries become the sole property of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre and will not be returned or refunded. Winners will be notified by phone, mail and/or email. If a potential winner cannot be reached after 10 days from first notification attempt, or if an entrant is found to be ineligible, or a prize notification is returned as undeliverable, such prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing. The prize shall be delivered at no expense to the winner.
PRIZE: There are ten (10) prize winners, each of whom will receive one (1) of the ten (10) sweepstakes prizes listed above. Each prize is being given away in "as-is" condition. The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferrable, non-refundable, and have a cash value of $0.01. The prize shall be delivered at no expense to the winner. The Maltz Jupiter Theatre does not guarantee the actual value of the prize. The Maltz Jupiter Theatre reserves the right to substitute a different prize from the list above in the event that the prize awarded cannot be fulfilled as described.
GENERAL: By entering the contest, participants agree that the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, its board, guild, directors, staff, volunteers, contractors and agents have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind which result from participation in the sweepstakes. The prize must be accepted within fifteen (15) days from the date of award, or it will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash. No substitution, assignment or transfer of a prize is permitted. Except where prohibited, the Maltz Jupiter Theatre may use any winner's name and likenesses in any media for publicity purposes without further compensation.
RESTRICTIONS: By participating in the Maltz Jupiter Theatre 2012/13 Season "10th Anniversary Season Celebration" Sweepstakes, a participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions of the sweepstakes judges.
DISPUTES: Entrant agrees that (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out or connected with this sweepstakes, or any Prize awarded, other than the administration of the contest or the determination of the winner, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate Florida State Court located in Palm Beach County, Florida; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out of pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this contest but in no event attorneys' fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and/or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant or the Maltz Jupiter Theatre shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Florida, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of the State of Florida, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Florida. All federal, Florida, provincial and local laws apply.
WINNER LIST/OFFICIAL RULES: For the name, city and state of prize winners and a set of Official Rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Maltz Jupiter Theatre, 1001 E. Indiantown Road, Jupiter, Florida 33477. Requests must be made by April 25, 2012.
