Dresser

Seeking an experienced dresser to assist with productions occurring 1/1/24 – 1/28/24 and 3/4/24 – 3/31/24.
Interested candidates can apply for one or both productions

Responsibilities:

– Assist performers with quick costume changes during live performances (pre and post show)- Ensure costumes are properly fitted and adjusted for each performer – Help performers with hair and makeup touch-ups as needed – Maintain organization and cleanliness of dressing rooms and costume storage areas – Collaborate with wardrobe team to ensure costumes are in good condition and ready for use – Communicate any costume or wardrobe issues to the appropriate personnel

Experience: – Previous experience working as a dresser or in a similar role preferred – Knowledge of different types of costumes and how to properly handle them – Familiarity with various costume fasteners, such as hooks, snaps, and zippers – Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment – Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with performers and wardrobe team members – Ability to withstand prolonged walking, standing and kneeling.

Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure will contribute to the overall success of our productions.
