In the style of Workshops
The Conservatory is proud to offer its “In the Style Of” workshop series, which offers an exclusive opportunity for students to be selected for free, unique dance workshops with cast members from the Maltz Jupiter Theatre’s musicals. Attendees are selected via lottery, open to all currently enrolled students.
The 2019/20 season will include dance workshops presented by cast members from The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Chicago, and How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
Master Classes and Workshops
This season's Master Classes will include Debbi Dee, Master Tap Teacher and Choreographer, and Audition Prep with Beverly Blanchette (for students auditioning at Bak Middle School of the Arts and Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts)
Professional Training Program
A one-of-its-kind, unique premiere professional training program for young performers who are pursuing a career in the performing arts. The curriculum is designed to train young actors for a career in theatre, musical theatre, film and television. This competitive, audition-only program enrolls 8-12 students per class, enabling participating students to grow at an accelerated pace with extremely high classroom expectations. The Maltz Jupiter Theatre Internship Program is committed to providing professional training experience for performing arts majors, recent graduates, and those interested in pursuing a career in professional theatre. An Internship may be used for college credit with the student being responsible for all academic fees, filing of forms and providing the Maltz Jupiter with a specific outline of the University’s Internship requirements.
The Conservatory Alumni Association is a Facebook community that stays connected with those who have graduated from the Conservatory and are in college or are already pursing their professional careers.
