TOP DONORS DINE AT CAPITAL GRILLE FOR
MALTZ JUPITER THEATRE
Jupiter, FL - (October 22, 2008) - The Capital Grille hosted a special appreciation luncheon for the top donors of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre on Sunday, October 19th. The entire management team and wait staff from the Legacy Place restaurant opened early to serve an exquisite luncheon to those who supported the not-for-profit Maltz Jupiter Theatre.
"It was our pleasure to host this donor appreciation luncheon for the Maltz Jupiter Theatre's benefactors. We applaud the Theatre and its supporters for providing the community with a unique art form, professional live theater, and we are proud as a new member of this community to partner with them." said Kathleen Calkins, Managing Partner of The Capital Grille.
Over sixty donors, who are members of the Theatre's "1001 Club" (aptly named for the Theatre's address on Indiantown Road), enjoyed The Capital Grille's signature Stoli Doli martinis and champagne followed by a 3 course lunch that included salad and a choice of grilled salmon or filet mignon, along with Sam's mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Dessert was a delectable flourless chocolate espresso cake with fresh raspberries, whipped cream and a Melba sauce.
Tricia Trimble, Managing Director of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre and Andrew Kato, Artistic Director expressed their gratitude to the benefactors for the remarkable support that has made the dream of a Professional Regional Theatre a reality in just six years. The reality, a gift to the whole community, is an award-winning Theatre with over 7,000 subscribers and a year-round Conservatory for students ages 5-20. It has become an outstanding South Florida destination for the community and tourists in Palm Beach County.
"Without the generosity of The Capital Grille, as a not-for-profit organization, we would not have come together to take a moment to take stock, and think back to three years ago of where we were and now to think of where we're going. The Capital Grille provided us with a gift of an afternoon where we collectively dreamed about the future of the Theatre, and we are so appreciative," said Andrew Kato.
