TAKE MALTZ JUPITER THEATRE STAGE
IN 'PUTTING IT TOGETHER'
April 16, 2010 (Jupiter) - Hankering for a taste of Broadway? Want it to have a youthful perspective?
Then check out the Maltz Jupiter Theatre Conservatory of Performing Arts' production of "Putting it Together."
The show, to be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 8, offers some of the best of Broadway, with performances of songs and scenes from Annie, School House Rock, Mary Poppins, Sunday in the Park with George and more. This talented group of students in grades K-12 is sure to delight and entertain.
"Our talented students have done it again," said Julie Rowe, director of education at the Conservatory. "They have worked so hard, and now it's time to celebrate their fantastic growth."
The cast will feature 55 students of the Conservatory, where they have received training in musical theatre, acting and dance. The cast of Fame: The Musical (to be presented May 21-22) will perform There She Goes and Fame, the touring company will perform selections from Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music, and the tap-dance class will perform a number from Anything Goes.

The Conservatory offers classes and theatre workshops in dance, acting and voice to students of all ages. Classes are held at the theatre after school and on Saturdays. A musical theatre wheel of classes is available for home-schooled students. In addition, private instruction in monologue work and vocal audition preparation is available upon request.
And Conservatory classes don't end when the school year wraps. Parents can enroll their budding talents in summer camps that begin June 7 and run through Aug. 6.
