Fostering Inclusivity:

Student Matinees

Generously Supported by:

The Maltz Jupiter Theatre’s commitment to inclusivity is epitomized by its Student Matinees. This innovative initiative invites area school students into the enchanting world of live theater, where they experience performances based on beloved children’s literature. More than mere entertainment, these shows enhance critical thinking and reading skills, aligning with state standards and enriching the educational experience.

Its dedication to breaking barriers truly sets the Student Matinee series apart. Over 2000 students annually embark on field trips to the Theater, many of whom are encountering live theater for the very first time. The Theater’s commitment to inclusivity is made evident as students from Title I schools are granted free admission, educators enjoy reduced ticket prices, and a diverse audience gathers under one roof, fostering social cohesion and diversity within the arts.
