Founded in 1986, Demetrius Klein Dance Company (DKDC), South Florida’s oldest modern dance company, seeks to make dance accessible to all and defy boundaries of age, space, and movement in dance. They do this through dedicated dancers from the local community, utilizing unconventional venues for more intimate performances and talkbacks. DKDC is thrilled to partner with the Goldner Conservatory At the Roe Green Education Center as Artists in Residence with members of the company teaching multidisciplinary dance styles throughout the coming school year as well as upcoming performances throughout the season.
