What You Need To Know

WHAT DAYS OF THE WEEK DO YOU HOLD CLASSES?  AND WHAT ARE THE HOURS?
Classes run, generally, Monday – Friday from 3:00pm until 9:00pm.  Please refer to the class schedule for individual class days and times.

HOW DO I KNOW WHICH CLASSES MY CHILD SHOULD TAKE?
Our experienced and well-trained teaching staff will carefully review and evaluate your student to recommend placement in the appropriate level class. All inquiries should be directed to Kim Cozort Kay, Director of Education:Kcozort@jupitertheatre.org.

CHOOSING A CLASS FOR YOUR CHILD: Understanding of placement and progression.
As you scroll through our class offerings, please note that each class is divided into grade levels. As each student progresses within the class, the teacher will begin to address their needs individually within the class as they remain with their appropriate age groups.
Think of reading groups in schools. Each class serves a specific grade level, but addresses the individual needs of the child at their developmental stage.
Teachers will ensure your child moves forward successfully with confidence, as they challenge them according to their progress.
As always, if there are concerns or questions, please reach out to: Kim Cozort Kay, Director of Education:Kcozort@jupitertheatre.org.

DO YOU CHARGE A REGISTRATION FEE?
Enrollment in fall, spring and summer classes and camps are subject to a $30 non-refundable processing fee per total transaction.  In the case of a family enrolling more than one student and/or within multiple classes or camps at the same time, there will only be one processing charge for that transaction.  Enrollment in classes and camps done within multiple transactions will each be subject to an additional processing fee.

HOW DO I ENROLL AND PAY FOR CLASSES?
You will be prompted for payment in full at the time of enrollment.  For your convenience, the Conservatory accepts all major credit cards, including American Express, Discover, and debit cards.

DRESS CODE:

WILL MY CHILD NEED TO BUY SPECIAL CLOTHING OR SHOES TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS?

For the safety of all students, closed-toe shoes are required at all times while inside the Conservatory. Flip-flops, slip-on shoes, heels, and crocs are not permitted anywhere in the facility. Dance instructors recommend wearing jazz shoes or other appropriate dance footwear based on class type — such as tap or ballet shoes for specialized classes. Please note: split-sole tap shoes and character heels are not allowed. Students should also wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for full range of movement.
