Marketing Associate 

 The Maltz Jupiter Theatre, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization and the largest regional theatre in the southern half of the U.S., recently completed a major $50M expansion to its iconic Jupiter facility. This state-of-the-art, award-winning Theatre is seeking an experienced and talented Marketing & Community Outreach Associate to join their team!  If you are talented and kind, possess excellent administrative skills, and would enjoy being part of a creative and fun environment, we would enjoy hearing from you.  

 The position plays a key role as a member of the Marketing Team and is responsible for providing essential administrative duties and support to the department. The Marketing Associate reports to the Marketing Manager and will work closely with the Sales Manager, Marketing Art Director, Graphic Designer, and PR/Communications Associate, as well as, the other Theatre departments as needed on assigned projects.  

The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: 

  • Organization and administrative duties related to various contracts, invoices, filing, tracking of advertising tear sheets, updating forms and maintain calendars.  
  • Research and attend community outreach events, both internal and external, to increase the Theatre’s community awareness and relations. 
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times. 
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to process all department invoices and grant approved advertising and invoices to align with the Marketing annual budget.  
  • Assist the Marketing Department with proofreading of collateral and projects.  
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and project management to ensure marketing collateral is completed in a timely manner.   
  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing Department including, but not limited to, ordering office supplies, maintaining marketing storage closets, and preparing weekly meeting agendas.  
  • Assist with in-house special event details and set-up requirements to ensure the success of the event 
  • Order and manage inventory of Theatre promotional collateral and merchandise. 
  • Ensure collateral inventory is properly displayed and quantities are replenished throughout Theatre outlets. 
  • Assist with other projects on an as needed basis. 
  • Position is fulltime and is NOT remote.  Candidate must have a flexible schedule and be available to work occasional nights and weekends during the Theatre’s season.  

 Qualifications:  

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook 360, and PowerPoint 
  • Knowledge of AudienceView ticketing system, CRM tools, Propresenter, Jotform and Adobe is preferred but not required. 
  • Four year college degree preferred 
  • Previous administrative experience (minimum 2 years) within a marketing department, regional theatre, or not-for-profit organization is preferred but not required
    Exceptional administrative and technical literacy with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and be deadline driven with strong written and verbal communication skills
    Must possess a passion for excellence, be detailed driven, and have a strong desire to be kind to both interior and exterior patrons and other employees 

Pay: $45k plus benefits. Full-time, year-round
