GET UNDER WAY
AT MALTZ JUPITER THEATRE

The lineup includes everything from plays to film to holiday music to comedy.
Here's a look at the month ahead:
Lost in Yonkers (through Dec. 13) Rosemary Prinz stars in Neil Simon's Tony Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning coming-of-age tale in which two boys are forced to live with a wild group of relatives after their mother dies. Hitchcock: The Mayhem Behind His Movies (7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6) Film expert Martin Leichter explores the genius of director Alfred Hitchcock with a lecture and a screening of his 1935 thriller, The 39 Steps, which stars Robert Donat. Tickets: Free, but donations will be accepted.
Palm Beach Gardens Concert Band Holiday Concert (7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16) The 75-piece band brings its annual holiday show to the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. The group, which includes former and current music educators, retired personnel, those currently employed, and students, will perform such favorites as Sleigh Ride and White Christmas, as well as Procession of Nobles (from Mlada by Rimsky-Korsakov), Gesu Bambino, Bashana Habana, On the Mall, Chanukah Triptych, Christmas Festival, Christmas on Broadway, A Charlie Brown Christmas, The Christmas Song, Holiday Fanfare and A Christmas Sing-Along. Tickets: $12.
The Capitol Steps (5 and 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31; 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 1) The group of former Washington insiders takes a funny look at serious issues in an evening of satire, music and comedy. Tickets: $50 for 5 p.m. shows, $85 for 8 p.m. New Year's Eve show, which includes Champagne toast.
