May 15, 2014 – Jupiter, Fla. – The Maltz Jupiter Theatre and 97.9 WRMF are kicking off the summer with a sizzling hot concert by the rock band O.A.R.!
97.9 WRMF will bring the popular chart-topping rock band O.A.R. to the 617-seat theatre on Saturday, June 7, featuring the South Florida rock band The People Upstairs, performing popular dance hits such as Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” and Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams’ “Get Lucky.”
All concertgoers will be treated to a tasting showcase from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. from area restaurants in the Theatre’s lobby – featuring a variety of flavorful fare – and O.A.R. will host an exclusive meet-and-greet before they perform in The Green Room Club Level Lounge for all club level ticketholders.

A national favorite for festivals and large-scale events, O.A.R. has sold close to two million albums and over two million concert tickets, including three sold-out shows at New York City's Madison Square Garden. In 2011, the band’s album King debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 chart, No. 3 on the Billboard Digital Album Chart and ranked No. 3 at iTunes on the day of the release.
King followed the band’s 2008 release, All Sides, which contains the Platinum radio single “Shattered.” Other hits include “Love and Memories” and now their current single “Peace.” The band is set to release their newest album, The Rockville LP, on June 10.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $45 for orchestra and mezzanine seats; $65 for club level seats, featuring a meet-and-greet with O.A.R. Powered by sponsor Braman Motor Cars.
