MALTZ JUPITER THEATRE BREAKS RECORD:
HITS 7,626 SEASON TICKET HOLDERS
December marks the last chance to purchase a four-play subscription and secure season tickets for the 2014/15 season
December 11, 2014 – The Maltz Jupiter Theatre has broken all previous records by exceeding 7,626 subscribers for the current 2014/15 season, Spark Your Imagination!
“Our 2014/15 season ticket sales represent a milestone for the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, and we believe this new record is a testament to the outstanding artistic excellence that our patrons have come to expect,” said Andrew Kato, the Theatre’s producing artistic director.
Jupiter residents Diane Davidson and Brian Klee broke the previous record, set during the 2013/14 season. “We’re delighted to support the Maltz Jupiter Theatre,” Klee said.
The 617-seat venue features a new subscription seating option: 62 new luxurious premium seats and an adjacent private upstairs, The Green Room. Spoil yourself in spacious 23” seats and enjoy the amenities throughout the season, including a stylish Club Level Lounge with a private bar and restrooms, one free drink of choice with ticket purchase for season shows, panoramic views of the stage and a private entrance and elevator.
“This week marks the final chance to purchase a four-play subscription and secure season tickets for the 2014/15 season,” said Jennifer Sardone-Shiner, the Theatre’s director of marketing. “We’d like to encourage everyone coming to see our production of Fiddler on the Roof to consider upgrading to season tickets to enjoy season ticket benefits all season. Buy a season subscription as a perfect holiday gift for someone to enjoy all year!”
A 2014/15 four-play subscription includes Fiddler on the Roof (onstage through December 21), the Tony Award®-winning classic musical that follows dairyman Tevye as he fights to maintain his family and heritage. Up next is The Wiz (January 13 - February 1), the spirited, rock gospel and soul Tony Award®-winning musical based on the classic tale The Wonderful Wizard of Oz – perfect for the entire family. Then join us for Glengarry Glen Ross (February 8 – 22), David Mamet's Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece about a group of tough-talking Chicago real estate agents who will do anything to close a deal. Our incredible season ends with a four-week run of the Tony Award®-winning phenomenon Les Misérables (March 10 – April 5), an epic and inspiring production not to be missed!
In addition to the theatre’s season shows, tickets are currently on sale for the theater’s annual series of outstanding concerts and more. New upcoming limited engagements include the annual New Year’s Eve tradition of the political comedy troupe Capitol Steps (December 31); the falsetto and smooth harmonies of the Atlantic City Boys (January 2) and a dynamic tribute to Frank Sinatra with Steve Lippia Centennial Sinatra (January 3).
Fiddler on the Roof is sponsored by Priscilla Heublein, Joe and Kathy Savarese and Homecare America while The Wiz is sponsored by the John McDonald Company and also in loving memory of Art and Meg Niedland.
