“We are ecstatic to be welcoming visitors to Palm Beach County to experience the luxury of the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa, as well as the magic of live theatre as SEUSSICAL™ (excerpts from the upcoming production at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre) comes to life at The Gardens Mall,” said Jennifer Sardone-Shiner, director of marketing for the Theatre. “This package is a truly unique and once-in-a-lifetime family getaway for all ages. We’d like to invite everyone to join us for our thrilling Seuss-inspired brunch and performances.”

Drawing approximately 120,000 Dr. Seuss fans throughout its four week exhibit, the first-of-its-kind environmental ‘The Art of Dr. Seuss Exhibition’ is taking place now through February 14 at The Gardens Mall, located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Presented in conjunction with the Ann Jackson Gallery of Atlanta, Georgia, this collaborative, museum-quality exhibition features compelling selections of artworks and sculptures from The Art of Dr. Seuss, including works from Dr. Seuss’ best-known children’s books and The Secret Art of Dr. Seuss, based on artwork that he created at night.

“Dynamic partnerships like this are part of what make The Palm Beaches such a vibrant destination as Florida’s Cultural Capital,” said Jorge Pesquera, president and CEO for Discover The Palm Beaches, the official tourism marketing corporation for Palm Beach County. “The Maltz Jupiter Theatre team’s creativity and professionalism has garnered national acclaim. We’re thrilled to see the collaboration with the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa for the Seuss-inspired brunch, as well as The Gardens Mall’s enchanting exhibit, which will allow visitors the unique opportunity to experience the wonder of Dr. Seuss up close.”

As the largest award-winning regional theatre in Florida, the Maltz Jupiter Theatre’s collaboration for the exhibit includes a large-scale colorful set designed to come alive with four performances per weekend of SEUSSICAL™ (excerpts from the upcoming production at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre). Taking place in the mall’s Grand Court, each 20-minute environmental extravaganza will feature talented young performers from South Florida as well as students from the Theatre's Youth Touring Company performing as part of the Seuss-filled set.

Whether planning a vacation or staycation, the exclusive themed brunch will take place on two dates only: January 30 and 31 with seatings from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (character visits from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.) at the luxury oceanfront resort Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa, located on the pristine beaches of Singer Island, Florida. Featuring lavish amenities that include two outdoor pools, one and two-bedroom condominium suites with fully equipped kitchens and more, the resort will offer special room rates to Seuss guests the weekends of the brunch. With rates starting at $539, the Seuss-inspired Breakfast Package will include a one-night stay in a one or two-bedroom suite (including parking and breakfast for two adults and one child, with access to the Seuss-inspired Activity Center and photo opportunity during the brunch).

“As we continue to welcome over 6 million visitors to Palm Beach County, this partnership that has created the Seuss-inspired Experience is another reason Palm Beach County is the best way to experience Florida,” said Roger Amidon, General Manager of the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort and Spa. “We are proud of our longstanding corporate partnerships with the Maltz Jupiter Theatre and The Gardens Mall, both of which are icons in our county and beloved destinations for our visitors. Whether enjoying many of the mall’s 166 stores or taking in a Broadway-caliber performance, the addition of the Seuss-inspired Experience brunch will be another memory maker.”

The brunch is open to the public, though reservations are encouraged; cost is $28 per adult and $13 per child for the breakfast; $10 entry into the themed Activity Center per child. Saturday’s brunch is supported by WHLG 101.3 The Coast and Sunday’s brunch is supported by South Florida’s 95.9 The Palm. For more information and to make a reservation, call (561) 340-1700.
