AT THE THEATRE

Jupiter, FL (November 21, 2008) - Sleuth, Anthony Shaffer's Tony award-winning play kicks off December at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. This action-packed whodunit play will baffle audiences as two men engage in a battle of wits and imagination over the love of one woman. This nail-biting mystery will have you guessing all night long. Sleuth will be onstage December 2 -14, 2008.

The New Gardens Band performs, "Home for the Holidays" on Monday, December 15, returning to the Theatre for another holiday spectacular. Special guests include the Treasure Coast Community Singers from Stuart and soloists from the Theatre's Conservatory of Performing Arts (COPA). Keeping with the holiday spirit, the "Doo-Wop Holiday Bop" led by Tommy Mara of The Crests and the Soul Survivors will be presented on Tuesday, December 16. Part of the Doo-wop series, this band includes many of your favorite holiday classics and is best known for their hit, "Expressway to Your Heart."

MegaMax with Newcell presents, Charles Calello, "The Master Behind the Music," Wednesday, December 17. Calello, backed by a pops orchestra, will take you on a tour of his career, filled with hits he helped create such as, "My Eyes Adored You," "Sweet Caroline" and many more familiar classics. This evening includes special guest Lou Christie singing hits such as "Lightning Strikes," "The Gypsy Cried," and "Two Faces Have I."

Part of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre's Emerging Artist Series in Musical Theater Playwriting a new work titled, Wonderland, based on the popular classic "Alice in Wonderland" will be on Saturday, December 20, This unique work, written and performed by the COPA students and directed by the Theatre's Artistic Director, Andrew Kato, is a contemporary pop musical journey using stunning visual effects and puppets and is great for the entire family.

Back for a third year, ring in the New Year at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre with Capitol Step. Due to popular demand there will be two performances on New Year's Eve, Wednesday, December 31 at 5pm and 8pm. The 8pm show includes a special VIP meet and greet and champagne toast with the cast. Join the group that puts the "mock" in democracy as they take a comical look at some serious issues after the historic elections of 2008.
